Kagel's 'Ludwig Van'
PhD student Nikos Stavlas performs a realisation of Mauricio Kagel’s ‘Ludwig Van'.
Mauricio Kagel was born in Argentina in 1931. He was a composer of many experimental avant-garde works and is best known for the score for the experimental collage film, 'Ludwig van', and the avant-garde 'Music for Renaissance Instruments'.
This Evening Concert is part of the Deptartment of Music's annual PureGold music festival.
