PhD student Anastasios Mavroudis (violin) performs works by J.S.Bach, N. Paganini, H. Wieniawski, and Skalkottas.

J.S. Bach: Ciaccona from Partita No. 2 for Solo Violin in D minor, BWV 1004
N. Paganini: Caprices 5 and 17 from 24 Caprices for Solo Violin, Op. 1
H. Wieniawski: Scherzo-Tarantella for Violin and Piano, Op. 16 & Légende, Op. 17
N. Skalkottas: Sonata for Solo Violin (1925)

This lunchtime concert is part of the Department of Music's annual PureGold music festival.

Concerts are open to the public.
