An 8-speaker outdoor sound installation which translates weather conditions into musical patterns in real time.

Using meteorological sensors connected to a custom software environment, the weather itself acts as conductor, navigating through a map of 24 specifically-written movements.

This sound installation by PhD student James Bulley and Daniel Jones, is a preview of a forthcoming commissioned installation at Snape Maltings, Suffolk as part of their Faster Than Sound / Aldeburgh Music event.

This showcase is also resultant of a recent Goldsmiths Annual Fund award for their work.

Venue: The College Green (near the outside practise rooms)
