Event overview
This event on Monday 18 July facilitated by Staff Development HR, kicks off the AUA/Goldsmiths CPD Pilot Framework Project - 'Co-creating development opportunities with and for our Departmental Administrators'.
Following our successful bid to the Association of University Administrators (AUA) to take part in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Framework Pilot, all Departmental Administrators/Managers are invited to the kick-off speacial event for our project on Monday 18 July at Goldsmiths.
We have been awarded time from a consultant to work with us on developing and using materials alongside the 'professional behaviours' framework, created following a national consultation with University professional services staff at Bristol, Derby, Essex, King's College London, Leeds Metropolitan, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and Thames Valley universities. Information on the AUA CPD project can be found at http://www.aua.ac.uk/professional_development/cpd/index.htm
For the pilot stage, we are inviting all Departmental Administrators/Managers to take part, on the Steering Group and/or as participants. Come along on Monday 18 July for this special event attended by our consultant, Jacqueline Bownes and featuring a session facilitated by Hugh Jones on 'How to Create Your Own Competency Framework' - a seriously lighthearted introduction to getting started on your CPD!
