Archiving, Documenting and Curating sound

Fiorenzo Settimio Palermo (Hugh Davies Archivist, Edison Fellow at British Library)

A talk exploring the contemporary landscape of archiving, documentation and the curation of sound works. The presentation will feature materials from the Hugh Davies archive at the British Library, the Daphne Oram archive at Goldsmiths, and documentation from the recent week-long SHO-ZYG Sound Showcase at St. James, London September 20-27 2012, and event that featured over 50 artists working with sound.
