A conversation in conjunction with an exhibition of a site-specific installation by Farniyaz Zaker. This event marks International Women's Week at Goldsmiths.

Farniyaz Zaker is an award winning artist. She will discuss the making and installation of her art work; the play of architecture, textile, word and site specific intallations.

Mariam Motamedi Fraser is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Goldsmiths. She has published extensively on theory, science, music and feminism. Recently she has been engaged with the question of disciplinary boundaries, and especially the relations between sociology, experience, literature and religion.
