Summer School dates: 2-11 July 2013
Application deadline: 26 April 2013
Are you passionate about Fine Art? Would you like to develop your portfolio? Would you like to explore Fine Art at university level?
We’re offering 24 young people from London the opportunity to participate in a Fine Art summer school at Goldsmiths which will involve teaching from professional artists, academics and the opportunity to work alongside Goldsmiths undergraduate art students. This summer school will provide access for a wide range of artists and students to work within a fine art department with a world leading reputation.
Participants in this summer school can test their abilities and experiment while learning new skills and different approaches to making art. Focused studio work will be supported by seminars that will enable students to contextualise their progress and gain insight into the work of a diverse range of artists and academics. Students will also experience a postgraduate art show (MFA).
You will create a body of work in a variety of art forms which can support your future portfolio. You’ll also gain the experience of exhibiting your work in a public space alongside the work of other artists.
