Event overview
Artist Emma Smith will explore practices by which we inhabit and create place, proposing present tense tactics including collaboration, imagination, friendship, lingering, play and oscillation.
Emma Smith is an artist based in London, UK. She has a performative and participatory art practice that is both research and production based. Using an inter-disciplinary approach, Smith creates sites for activity through installations, events, performance and play to explore the inter-relation of people and place. Looking in particular at tacit forms of knowledge, Smith regularly collaborates as part of her process and works through the bringing together of multi-disciplinary teams.
