Facilitated by Charlotte Williams, Suzanne Stuelten and Adele Rees, the counselling Service in collaboration with the Chaplaincy, is working to develop a safe space for students to relax and connect with themselves on a weekly basis.
A group will be provided where a mindfulness, relaxation or visualisation exercise will be faciliated for one hour each week during term time. The aim is to give you the space to come and relax, touch base and be with yourself in a safe and soothing environment. You may wish to bring an extra layer of clothing or a blanket to put over you to prevent you from getting cold as your body begins to let go of tension and relax.
Whilst mindfulness has roots in many faith traditions the sessions we run at Goldsmiths do not have a faith expression and are open to all.
