Getting into the games industry - help & advice for all seeking a career.

Andrew Willans, game designer, and Matthew Oakley, artist, will reflect upon their experience of creating games at Ubisoft.

Andrew is a six year games design veteran who joined Reflections in 2008 after working with 2K Games. He has also attended the Ubisoft Design Academy Paris, served as studio ambassador for the franchise and established best practises in communicating game and level design methodology within the studio.

Matt is an artist and has been at Reflections for 2 years and has worked on Far Cry 3, Just Dance 3 and 4 and Driver San Francisco.

In 2011 Reflections Studio took steps to expand its experience and share its expertise by collaborating on a range of exciting and popular titles such as Just Dance 4, Far Cry 3 and the hugely anticipated Watch_Dogs. Matthew and Andrew will provide a peek into the scrapbook of their experiences of studio life at Reflections. Sharing best practices, providing tips for how to stand out in an interview, and discussing how studio collaborations are vital to creating the AAA franchises of this generation, and the next...
