Malroie will be discussing her work and answering questions from the audience.
Malorie Blackman OBE is one of the country’s most prolific and imaginative writers for young readers.
With over 50 books to her name, the newly appointed Waterstones Children’s Laureate has won numerous awards, including the Red House Children’s Book Award and the Fantastic Fiction Award.
Described as a ‘national treasure’ by The Times, Malorie will discuss her writing, inspirations and the importance of ethnic diversity in publishing, and will read from her latest novel Noble Conflict, followed by a Q&A.
The event is organised by Words of colour Productions, a social enterprise that has created programmes for budding and established writers of all genres for seven years.
