Grow Wild are collaborating with New X-ING to transform New Cross Road (A2) and other nearby urban areas into an extraordinary bee-friendly environment!

A Thousand Sunflowers for New Cross is a current project ran by Grow Wild whose aim is to turn New Cross into a bee friendly environment by planting a thousand sunflowers in various sites along New Cross Road.

On Saturday, a team of volunteers will be recovering a derelict piece of land on the entrance to Sainsbury's Car Park, planting sunflowers and wild flowers for the bees. (263 New Cross Rd London SE 14 5UQ). There will be a filming in progress during this event. Volunteers need to be on site and the entrance of the car park at 1pm (by the giant advertising hoarding)
