Wang Hui is professor of intellectual history at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Sent for compulsory “re-education” for his role in the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, Wang is a leading member of China’s “new left” movement and a past editor of Dushu, one of China’s most influential literary journals. His most recent book is "The End of the Revolution: China and the Limits of Modernity."
David Graeber is an American anthropologist and social activist. He has lectured at Yale, Goldsmiths and the London School of Economics. He is the author of several books, including "Debt: The First 5,000 Years," and has written for Harper’s, The Nation, and other magazines and journals. His most recent book is "The Democracy Project: A History, a Crisis, a Movement."
