Event overview
As part of Urban Food Fortnight we will be holding a small market in the garden at Café Crema celebrating all things made, grown or created in South East London. Come and support this new venture and help support local growers and makers.
When: Saturday, 21st September from 12 til 4
Where: Café Crema garden, side entrance on Laurie Grove or come through the café
306 New Cross Road, SE14 6AF
Why: Because it’s good to buy things that haven’t travelled half way round the world and that aren’t drowning in packaging. Children welcome. Come and see the ducks too. As well as the stalls, Café Crema will be open for the day serving Fair Trade teas and coffee, home made cake and vegetarian main dishes. Fully licensed.
What’s on offer? A small collection of outdoor stalls selling homemade jams and preserves, locally grown produce, plants, fresh herbs, local honey (from Pepys Road and Brockley bees) and hand forged, locally designed metal furniture, botanical drawings…blackberry cobbler ..home made organic bread with chives and garlic from the garden..
