Anarchists Against the Wall is an Israeli initiative maintaining active solidarity with the Palestinian popular struggle. Since 2003, they have been accompanying Palestinian villagers in boldly challenging the Segregation Barrier and land confiscation in the West Bank.
Uri Gordon, co-editor of a new collection of writings by the group's participants (AK Press 2013), will discuss a decade of direct actions and demonstrations against the daily violence and dispossession in occupied Palestine, and on the nature of solidarity despite inequality.
Uri is an Israeli activist and a lecturer in politics at Loughborough University. He is also the author of Anarchy Alive! - Anti-authoritarian Politics from Practice to theory (Pluto Press 2008).
