Goldsmiths Chaplaincy and Counselling departments are running Relaxation, Mindfulness and Visualisation sessions on Tuesday afternoons between 2-3pm in the Multi Faith Prayer Room (Richard Hoggart Building 2.106).

These Sessions are designed as an introduction to a variety of methods of finding a reflective space. Regular use of quiet reflection can be helpful in managing stress and anxiety. Although Meditation has roots in a number of faith traditions there is no faith element to these sessions. Each week will have a different focus to enable participants to consider how meditation might benefit them in the long run.
Places are on a first come basis and we should be able to take up to 15 people.
You do not need to register for each weeks session, simply turn up on the day and we will take an attendance list. Please note that once the session is full or has started you will not be able to join the group that day.

The sessions are open to all and you do not need any previous experience of meditation. You may find it helpful to wear loose or stretchy clothing as we often sit on the floor.
