Part of the INC Seminar Series "Grounding: Philosophy and the Law"

We are excited to announce Naomi's talk, 'Is Truth Valuable?' as part of InC's Grounding: Philosophy and the Law series.

Nietzsche attacked the value commonly attached to truth, seeing it as the last remnant of a slavish deference to a god's eye view and to an associated obsession with morality. With controversy over recent Wiki-leaks and surveillance cases, questions about the nature and value of truth are topical and relevant to the Law.

Join us on 21st January 2014 from 5 - 7 pm in Goldsmiths RHB 143.

Naomi Goulder is a Senior Lecturer at the New College for the Humanities. Naomi works at the intersection of philosophy of action and ethics, with particular attention to the relationship between author and authorship.
