As part of the Department of Music's PureGold season, we present a lunchtime concert of piano works by Jakob Fichert's piano students


1) Joseph Cryan: " The Slaying of the Innocents" (from the Chester Mystery Plays) performed by Tara Mexis (voice) and Julian Silverman (piano)

2) Francesca Fargion: "Amore mi sprona" performed by Martha Macbean (voice) and Francesca Fargion (piano)

3) Robin Hague: "Atlantis" performed by Anton Kuznetzov

4) Ross Edwards: "Snails Bay Mantra" and "Frangipani" (nos. 1 and 2 from "Mantras and Night Flowers") performed by Mahsa Salali

5) Sergei Liapounov: Barcarolle op 46 performed by Rachel Duckett

6) Nicolai Kapustin: Étude op 40 no. 7 performed by Alex Hill-Knight

7) Bach/Friedman: Toccata and Fugue in D minor performed by Alex Hill-Knight
