Green Gartside (Scritti Politti) in conversation with Kodwo Eshun - part of 'Post-Punk Then and Now', the Visual Cultures Public Programme Autumn 2014

Green Gartside is a singer/songwriter and frontman of the band Scritti Politti. This in-conversation will explore Gartside's interest in critical theory and politics, and its impact upon Scritti's adventures in musical form from post-punk to Pop.

Kodwo Eshun is a Lecturer on the MA Aural & Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths and a founder member of the Turner nominated Otolith Group

Post-Punk Then and Now is a series of talks & film screenings exploring post-punk’s popular modernist search for the new from the 1970s to today.

The event of free, no booking is required and all are welcome.
