‘The creation and perception of Prokofiev’s Second Violin Sonata in the USSR and the US through music editions and reviews’

For our next Music Research Series event, after reading week, we welcome another PhD student from Goldsmiths Music Dept. In this event, Viktoria Zora will be discussing her ongoing research on Prokofiev's music in a paper entitled, 'The creation and perception of Prokofiev’s Second Violin Sonata in the USSR and the US through music editions and reviews'.

This is a great opportunity for undergraduate or MA/MMus students to learn about the ongoing processes involved in PhD research and promises to be particularly insightful to those using scores and their primary research materials.

All welcome, not just students!
