Critical Environments is a series of lectures and events, which engages with the apprehension that we are living in end times through a wide variety of thematic and disciplinary perspectives.

This event is organised in collaboration with the Centre for Cultural Studies.

Dr Weinstein arrived at Linköping University, Tema Genus, in September 2010 to direct her project entitled: The Zoontology Research Team. Now an Associate Professor and director of the Critical Life Studies Research Team, Weinstein pursues independent research in areas such as: contemporary continental philosophy; feminist, gender, and queer theory; critical life studies; animal studies; posthuman(ities) studies; and science and technology studies. From January 2015, she will begin the research project, Vital Signs: Life, Theory, and Ethics in the Age of Global Crisis.

The event is free, no booking is required and all are welcome.

Series chairs: Lynn Turner & Wood Roberdeau
