Goldsmiths Literature Seminar

This week's GLITS will take a slightly different format to our regular weekly seminars. The session will be of particular interest to third year undergraduates who are writing their dissertations. It will also be relevant to postgraduate students and to anyone with an interest in Beckett or to anyone engaged in academic writing.

One of our MA students, Tabina Iqbal (who was an undergraduate at Goldsmiths), will present the seminar. Tabina will read her undergraduate dissertation, 'Unspeakable home: Journeying towards unity in Samuel Beckett's Three Novels', for which she was awarded a first-class grade. Her work discusses how impasse features in the journey narratives of the Trilogy.

The seminar will include a question and answer section, during which Tabina will discuss the practical and intellectual aspects which were involved in writing a first-class dissertation.
