Screening of CONCRETE HEART LAND (2014) Mapping and Discussion with filmmakers Steven Ball & Rastko Novakovi, Luna Glucksberg and Mara Ferreri

It is becoming almost impossible for many different people and communities to continue living in London. As rents and house prices continue to rise and stocks of social housing are lost to the gentrifying effects of regeneration, housing is fast becoming primarily an investment commodity affordable only to the rich.

This event brings together activists, artists, academics and residents, to map housing displacement in London, to discuss ways of resisting the social cleansing and displacement that the current dominant neoliberal model perpetuates.
