Greenwich Skeptics in the Pub presents a light-hearted look at the growth of organised scepticism in the UK

Richard Wiseman will introduce a series of short chats as follows (timings are approximate):

19:30 – 19:35: Chris French: Welcome and Introduction
19:35 – 19:45: Ian Ridpath/Mike Hutchinson: The pre-history of UK scepticism
19:45 – 19:55: Michael Heap/Mike Marshall: Skeptics in the Pub
19:55 – 20:05: Deborah Hyde/Wendy Grossman: The Skeptic magazine

*** BREAK ***

20:30 – 20:40: Chris French/Richard Wiseman: The Golden Age of Paranormal TV
20:40 – 21:00: Q&A with all.

The event is a precursor to the 16th European Skeptics Congress at Goldsmiths (11-13 September 2015) but is open to both delegates and non-delegates - and of course, as it's a Skeptics in the Pub event, there will be a bar!
