Jocelyn Page’s poetry crosses the Atlantic. Born and raised in Connecticut, Jocelyn lives and works in London and has just completed her PhD in Creative Writing at Goldsmiths. Her first pamphlet collection, smithereens, was welcomed as 'a fresh new voice on the poetry scene'. Her work has appeared in Smiths Knoll, The Interpreter’s House
and city lighthouse anthology. Jen Hadfield writes of her work: ‘Jocelyn Page accomplishes a living language – these unflinching tidings contain a mardi gras parade of voices. ‘
Jocelyn is the winner of the first ever Goldsmiths Pamphlet competition, judged by the poet Glyn Maxwell. Her winning pamphlet 'You've Got to Wait Till the Man You Trust Says Go' is launched and celebrated here at Goldsmiths tonight.
