This film is about Josue, a man finding purpose for his life in Ciudad Juarez (Mexico) after years of self-destruction.

Infested with gangrene and unable to walk, he [Josue] became mentally disturbed and was left in a mental asylum run by its own patients. Six years later, Josue manages the asylum, negotiating mental ill- ness with compassion in a land beyond the reach of the state and the market.
