Andrew Zolinsky performs this free lunchtime concert, with music by Scarlatti, Schubert, Messiaen and Chopin.

Scarlatti: Sonata in F minor K.481
Scarlatti: Sonata in D major K.492
Schubert: Klavierstück in E flat major D.964 No.2
Messiaen: Premiere communion de la vierge (from Vingt regards sur l'enfant - Jesus)
Chopin: Scherzo No.2

Pianist Andrew Zolinsky is one of the most distinctive musical voices of his generation. His unique style of programming and his individual interpretations have secured performances at many prestigious venues and festivals. His work with living composers brings a vivid freshness, energy and passion to his interpretations of music from previous eras. Andrew is Professor of piano at the Royal College of Music and at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Hosted by the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, this series of concerts by professional musicians and students takes place in the grand surroundings of Deptford Town Hall, on the Steinway Model D concert piano.

The performance is open to all staff and students at Goldsmiths, as well as members of the public.
