Dissemination conference for the ESRC-funded Multilingual Europe seminar series at the Department of Educational Studies, Goldsmiths College
A conference for teachers, researchers and policymakers highlighting success factors in promoting multilingualism and multiculturalism in the UK and six other European countries. An opportunity to hear about the findings of the Multilingual Europe seminar series funded by the ESRC. Talks on research, workshops on innovative projects (in English as an Additional Language, community languages and foreign languages, fostering home-school links). Panel on educational policy-making in a multilingual Europe with Lid King (Director, National Languages Strategy), Kate Daly (Ethnic Minority Achievement Unit, DfES), and international contributors.
