Come and find out how School Direct offers the opportunity to combine teacher training at Goldsmiths with learning and doing on the job.

Goldsmiths is delighted to be working in partnership with schools offering School Direct, a school-led route into teaching. This path into teaching allows those who have just finished a degree, or have been working in a career for many years, to gain the qualifications and practical skills you need to become a teacher. Successful completion leads to a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). There is a strong likelihood that your school may offer employment afterwards.

The School Direct (salaried) Training programme is open to graduates with three or more years’ career experience, usually post degree. The School Direct Training programme is available to all other graduates and offers tax-free bursaries of up to £25,000 for candidates with top degrees in priority subjects.
This event gives you the opportunity to meet with our school partners and learn more about the programme, the admissions process and guidance on fees and funding.
