Stephen Taylor from the University of Oxford will present Zegami which allows for intuitive browsing in large image databases.

Zegami is a fast and intuitive web based platform that can view thousands of images with the ability to query, sort and filter metadata associated with the images.

It is written using HTML5 and gaming technology and is being used in diverse projects from biological research to museum specimen curation.

Zegami started as an academic project but has since been spun out by Oxford University as a business.
