The EYAS is a young professional chamber orchestra which includes past members of the English Schools’ Orchestra, will be performing three short new works by young composers.

The composers being performed tonight are the finalists in their second competition for young composers. A distinguished panel of judges (Chief Judge: Edward Gregson, Scott Stroman and Richard Sisson) will be making presentations to the winner and other finalists at the end of the concert which also includes Mendelssohn’s Italian Symphony.
