____

MULTIPLEXER is a biannual book-zine journal produced by Vehicles for Experimental Practice research lab within Goldsmiths Design Department. Each issue is expanded through different related activities like exhibitions, events and lectures.

The Multiplexer is where the signs that describe and construct our world get analysed, manipulated, compressed and collided to generate new directions. The purpose of the Multiplexer is not the provision of finite answers but the construction of parallel complexities. In the Multiplexer time and space collapse into momentous artifice, which becomes part of that permanent flux of approximations that we call reality.

This lecture is the third in the series, following the launch MULTIPLEXER issiue ZERO password CANNIBALIST. Previous guests include JODI (web artist collective from the Netherlands) and Marguerite Humeau (French artist/designer based in London).

MULTIPLEXER issue ONE password MALFICTION will be launch end of May 2016
