Library building and self-service access

The Library is open 24 hours every day for Goldsmiths students, staff and Alumni.

The Library is open from 9am-9pm for registered Community and SCONUL users.

Christmas opening hours

Christmas opening hours The Library Help Desk and LiveChat service will close at 4pm on Friday 19 December and re-open on Monday 5 January at 10am.

The Library Building is open to Goldsmiths students, staff and registered users with Goldsmiths cards during the closure period at the following times:

To enter during the Christmas closure period you will need to bring your Goldsmiths ID card and touch it on the reader near the accessible door at the main entrance. Walk in access for visitors who have not registered is not possible during this time.

Remote working support

To support you when you are working remotely Goldsmiths students have access to an extensive digital library, including 228 databases, over 40,000 e-books and over 12,000 online journals, available online 24/7.

Our academic support guides can help you with your studies and you can access support and advice on our computer, IT, audio/video and information systems.
