Join us for this artist-led workshop where you can help design a new mural commemorating the events of 13 August 1977

Goldsmiths are working in partnership with Lewisham Council to create a new public artwork to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Battle of Lewisham, and we want you to help design it.

Members of the public of all ages and abilities are invited to workshop ideas and help design a new permanent public artwork to be located on Batavia Road.

Join Goldsmiths artists, designers and historians and become part of a local story.

Drop in or stay as long as you like. Refreshments provided.

The event will take place in the St James Hatcham Building, a former Victorian church located at the end of St James', off New Cross Road.
