Join us for talks and activities about genetics and consent in the post-genomic era, all over drinks and nibbles.

The Accessible Genetic Consortium is pleased to announce the date for the next Genes & Tonic Event. This year, the theme of the event is Know Thy Father. Participants will engage in fun activities and will have an opportunity to attend short expert talks on different aspects of genetic science, law and ethics. Participants will also act as medical ethicists, by interactively considering a real-life court case involving the NHS and genetic information. Throughout the event, we will collect participants' views and opinions about pressing issues, such as what consent means in the genomic era.

We are inviting people from all backgrounds to join us for the fun, interactive evening over a drink and nibbles.

The event will take place on Friday the 9th of February between 18:00 and 21:30, at Goldsmiths, University of London in New Cross.
