Goldsmiths Writers' Centre in association with the English Society presents Ross Raisin in conversation with Ana Fletcher of Jonathan Cape

Ross and Ana will be discussing the role of an editor as a practitioner on the page. Rather than the focus being on what commissioning editors look for when contracting new writing, Ana will talk about what she does at her desk when working forensically with texts, and how she works with and alongside authors like Ross. The two of them will also speak about how they worked together during the publication process of Ross's recent novel, 'A Natural'.
