A celebration of the life of Andaiye ( 1942 – 2019)

Friends and comrades will gather to celebrate the life of the Guyanese political activist, Andaiye, who died on Friday 31 May in Georgetown, Guyana. The gathering is being organised by the African Remembrance Day committee, in association with the Centre for Caribbean and Diaspora Studies, Goldsmiths, University of London, to pay warm tribute to this warrior woman. Keynote speeches from Selma James and Clem Seecharan from the platform and, via Skype, Eusi Kwayana in Atlanta and Donald Rodney in Guyana.
