The law and ethics of life writing

Nicola Solomon, Chief Executive of the Society of Authors and a solicitor will talk you through the legal and ethical considerations of Life Writing. What can you write about and what is off limits? What about using documents and photos? How best do you do research? Are written permissions always binding? Bring your dilemmas and questions and Nicola will talk us through the copyright, defamation, privacy and ethical considerations.
