Event overview
MA Photography Practice students present experimental work in progress, including photography, installation, immersive video and printed matter.
Students present a selection of work developed during the autumn term, spanning experimental photography, immersive video installations in the Sonic Immersive Media Lab, and printed matter including zines and books. The exhibition reflects the program's approach to photography as an expanded practice, exploring its intersections with moving image, installation, and publication.
The interim exhibition serves as a testing ground for ideas in development, allowing students to engage with public presentation and curatorial practice. Work on display explores diverse technical approaches across traditional and emerging media, from darkroom processes to digital technologies.
This exhibition precedes the final degree show in summer, offering students an opportunity to refine their practice through audience engagement and spatial presentation.
