Goldsmiths Literature Seminar

Kate Miller is a third year Phd student in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths. Her research topic is 'Walks to The Sea by late 20th century poets'. She will be reading from some of her poetry and discussing the difficulties of keeping a poem afloat. In particular, she will be discussing the process of seeing versus the habit of listening and the taking of time. Her theme for this session is: 'The Poem surfacing, sometimes sinking'.

Jenny Kingsley is an American journalist and writer living in London with her family. She completed the MA Creative and Life Writing course at Goldsmiths last year. Jenny holds a BSc Social Anthropology from the LSE and a MA Government from Georgetown University. She writes creative non fiction and short stories and her work has appeared in American and British publications.
