Following the success of last years Staff Sports Day on the College Green, we are running another Sports Event on the afternoon of Wednesday 30 June, 2-4pm.
Departments are invited to enter individuals or teams for a 'World Cup Football' 4-a-side tournament run by the on-site gym, Club Pulse, or a 9-a-side Rounders tournament set up by the National Governing Body, Rounders England.
Spectators and supporters are all welcome and ice cream will be sold, with all profits going to charity.
This event is endorsed by Human Resources as part of the Health and Wellbeing initiative. Last years event promoted inter-department communications and team bonding.
If you would like to participate, please initially ask your Head of Department for permission to attend, then email Ruth Gibson, the Sports and Recreation Manager at r.gibson@gold.ac.uk. If you can't raise a full team, Ruth can arrange a joint team across departments.
