A reading group to discuss the recent Assault on the Universities.

This week Des Freedman (Department of Media and Communications) chairs a reading from the book Assault on the Universities, edited by Des himself. The reading is attached to this email. The reading is from Chapter 2, entitled ‘The Idea of the University’ by John K. Walton. Come along and be part of the discussion. In light of recent changes to higher education fees, we're expecting it to be a lively debate!
