Goldsmiths Literature Seminar

A Reading Group with Film: Gilles Delueze on Cinema as Image of Thought in Negotiations (Part 2,'Cinemas').

Chair: Johanna Franklin (Goldsmiths)

Please join us in a discussion of Delueze's theory of cinema in the Deleuze anthology, Negotiations. We will be considering the philosopher's concepts of the time-image, the movement-image and the imaginary, alongside clips from films including David Lynch's Inland Empire and Steve McQueen's Shame.

The extract from Deleuze's Negotiations is available to view on the GLITS Spring Term page of the VLE.
