Cindy Mahoney, Director, Global Head of People Development. BlackRock is coming to speak at Goldsmiths.

Cindy Mahoney, ACIB, Director, is Global Head of People Development. BlackRock are investing in talent to raise the bar on our performance and strengthen our brand as an employer with the best talent in the industry. Cindy is responsible for developing the talent in the firm and driving a high-performance culture.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2011, Cindy was CEO of Cedar Talent Management, a niche talent management consulting business, part of the Savile Group plc. She was responsible for developing the business strategy, relationship management and developing a wide range of bespoke solutions for clients. She also coached many senior leaders in the both financial services and the public sector. She also had a seat on the plc. Board. Prior to that she worked at both Fairplace and Penna as a talent consultant.

Cindy began her career in 1981 at Barclays plc where her early roles included retail and corporate banking, progressing to regional sales manager, area development director for the high net-worth offering and ultimately Change Director of the retail bank. Her career with Barclays spanned 18 years.
