David Bishop, Head of Game Design, Mind Candy

David was designer and producer on Aladdin, Jungle Book, Lion King and Cool Spot for Sega Megadrive and SNES; producer and designer on 7th Guest for PC; product manager on Jimmy White’s Whirlwind Snooker for Atari ST and Commodore Amiga. He designed and produced Dune.

At MindCandy he has been involved in a ton of interactive TV games with over 10 million plays to date. Creative directorial responsibilities include: Plants v Zombies, Bejeweled and Peggle on iPhone and iPad.

Mind Candy is behind the Moshi Monsters website, built on a virtual pet model to create a giant social network. Now, with multi-platform expansion including a music label and video channel, the social network has in excess of 80 million users registered (mainly children) worldwide.
