Next Monday, Feb 24th is the start of Fairtrade Fortnight 2014 here at Goldsmiths. The Fairtrade Committee is running a number of events over the 2 week period.

The first is Shrove (Pancake) Tuesday’s event with the Chaplaincy Team, secondly, a TraidCraft and Fairtrade stall will be in position in the Pod Café during that week too. Fairtrade movie clips during the 12-2pm lunch hour in the cinema is another event. And at last, but by no means least, …the visit to the campus by Foncho, the Colombian banana farmer. Don’t miss your chance to meet a “real- life, small farmer hero”.
