A one-day conference, Friday 23 May 2014, Ian Gulland Lecture Theatre.

This one-day British Academy Early Career Regional Event will focus on 'Equity and Justice in childhood and adolescence'. Topics covered will include social exclusion and inclusion, racism, prejudice, social inequality, immigration, civic engagement, pro-social behavior, human rights. It will be a unique opportunity for early career scholars from different disciplines interested in issues of equity and justice in childhood and adolescence to network and share their common ideas and research findings.

Attendance is free - please register on Eventbrite ("search Equity and Justice"). A limited travel bursary will be offered to delegates qualifying as early career.
