The launch of London's hottest writing festival is in association with The Goldsmith's Prize and includes prize-nominated author Will Eaves reading from his wonderful book The Absent Therapist.

Literary Kitchen is London’s hottest new festival devoted to writers and writing.

The festival is returning to Peckham for its second year from 12-18 October. It features some of the UK’s best young authors, alongside cabaret, parties, pub crawls, walks, talks and much more. There are over 150 writers taking part in 20 venues across South London, with events including a death café, sex salon, a two-day independent publishers’ fair, the chance to meet agents and lots, lots more.

The launch event on Monday 12 October is being hosted in association with Goldsmith Writers' Centre and The Goldsmiths Prize and features Natasha Soobramanien + Luke Williams, Jonathan Gibbs, and, headlining, The 2014 Goldsmiths Prize-nominated author Will Eaves, who will be reading from his wonderful book The Absent Therapist.

There will be a DJ and Literary Cocktails specially mixed for us at The Peckham Pelican bar.

This event is FREE to all Goldsmiths staff, students + alumni.
