Nik Kinley of YSC discusses the importance of context for personal development at work.

Nik Kinley is a London-based Director of the international talent management consultancy YSC, who’s prior roles include Global Head of Assessment for the BP Group and Head of Learning for Barclays GRBF. He has specialized in the fields of measurement and behaviour change for over twenty years, and in this time has worked with CEOs, factory-floor workers, life-sentence prisoners, government officials and children.

He has written books on corporate learning and talent assessment, developed materials for top-ranked global business schools, and is a regular speaker at industry conferences. His latest book, ‘Talent Intelligence’, was published in June and has attracted significant praise from leading global firms and highly positive industry reviews. Often cited in the media on matters relating to talent assessment and development, he is the author of the renowned blog, measuringtalent.com.
