Event overview
The final symposium for the ESRC project on the relationship between values and value includes key speakers in the world of the digital, economic and political
We will explore the intra-actionsm infrastructures and accumulation that occur on digital platforms. What is the significance when every action is subject to potential monetisation. What does it mean to be captured by capital? What does it mean to make profit without production. We begin by outlining the research from the ESRC project on Values and Value conducted by Bev Skeggs and Simon Yuill that used software to track the trackers and move into broader economic and political questions. These questions will be answered by key speakers in the field including: Will Davies, Natalie Fenton, Matthew Fuller, Olga Goriunova, Sarah Green, Gholam Khiabany, Costas Lapavitsas, Adrian McKenzie, Dan Mercea, Johnna Montgomerie, Alberto Toscano and Joanna Zylinska.
